Oh I know. I was going crazy and then boom. My clues were in the address changes.

Could you please describe your progression of address changes in ECAS, from the very beginning? My spouse's (applicant) address initially showed "C/O <My Name>", followed by my Canadian address. After the stage 1 sponsorship was approved the "C/O <My Name>" line disappeared, but my Canadian address remained, under my spouse's name. There has been no change since and the status has always remained "Application Received." My spouse's actual address in the foreign country has never appeared in ECAS. I'm interested to know what happened for other people, just out of curiousity. Thanks.

A DM is showing on my wife's E-CAS status this morning.

"A decision has been made on XXXX's application. The office will contact XXXX concerning this decision."

However, her address did not get updated to my Canada address. It's still showing her India address. Does this mean we can expect the Passport with PR VISA now?

If this is the case, any idea how long will it be before the Passport arrives (ND to Mumbai)?

The day our address popped up on my husband's ecas, we got the AOR from our VO. Then I noticed it had been slightly altered - the formatting had been corrected and the country added. The next day we got the PPR. I know some people see a Canadian address right before the visa is granted.

Thanks. So before that happened there was no address listed in ECAS?

This is how my spouse's address appears:

House Number
Street Name
City, Province
Canada
Postal Code

Well my husband had a UCI number for an old app so our old address was on there but usually no address is on there. So seeing an address is great. Seeing medical received is great. And any adjustment to the address is also...great. We are in the US and our address was put in as if it was a Canadian address. Our zip code was separated like it was put into postal code form. When they fixed that and added the country (USA) we got the PPR. Our address shows up on the PPR so I am assuming they adjusted it while generating the ppr email. Any little change means something so don't worry if you don't see In Process. Most of the time they don't put it in process until right before the PPR or in my case, after.

I think its safe to say DM! you should get the Passport shortly.. Congrats! I will update the s/s

Just got an email saying FedEx delivered my husband's passport to the VO. I hope the turn around is fast because I want that visa in my hands - especially since we booked our flight already!

Is it advisable to include the "photocopies" of the original receipt for Right of Permanent Residence Fee and the Police Clearance Certificate along with the passport? Just to show them that it is already been taken care of along with a letter.

The originals of PCC and payment receipt was included at the time we filed the application.

Sure but be careful and very clear to say that the PCC you are sending is a copy of the ORGINAL which you have sent with the application...

Thanks! I'll be stalking the tracking number for the return package. We are going to be out of town Thurs to Mon. What should we do in case they try and deliver? (FedEx) We don't want them leaving it at the door like they do other stuff.

Congrats canadiangirl! Say hi to Canada for me ;D

I was wondering, do we have any other applicants for Quebec? I'm waiting for my CSQ, it's been three weeks so far and I'm hoping they will finish this week :s
I know for sure they were working on it, because last week they called to ask for the social insurance number

Nothing changed on ecas and I bet they won't do anything until summer and vacations are over

I'd be out buying water, bread, rice, and some chocolate...I'd also be pitching a tent on the front lawn...no way I'd be going out of town during a time like this... :P

You could leave a large poster with your contact number, so if they try to deliver and you're not there, they could call you...then you might ask a trusted friend or neighbor to collect the package for you...

Almost done...do you have any feelings of deja vu??
