I wanted to update the application filing and receipt dates. I am officially a MARCH girl, but I love you guys!
 
Hey May 10 we got PPR with other additional documents, i wonder if that;s a good sign!

Hand delivered May 12 (we didn't get the email till may 11 and ECAS has nothing new, Hubby nearly deleted the email thinking it was spam but decided to open it and in the email it said we had 90 to submit everything and now further contact would be made in regards to the request! Crazy and lucky it wasn't deleted! lol

Trying not to get to excited, but wonder if its a good sign to ask for the passport so early!
 
my ecas has been updated to in progress, files have been recieved your file march 17, and we have started processing your file may 9th.
 
Hi. Little late but in. :)

I am from Ontario Canada and am sponsoring my wife in Cambodia.

I sent application on Feb 2/2011.
CIC Mississauga recieved my application on Feb 3/2011.
On Mar 1/2011 they started processing my application. Decision made and recieved letter on Mar 3/2011 saying it was good and sent to Singapore.
On Mar 10/2011 online it says they recieved my wifes application for permanent residence.

Hi CanGuate, can you tell what the email (that hubby nearly deleted) was titled?
 
Hey yeah it had his file number from his AOR and his name in a funny order, but he nearly deleted it he said because of the sender and that his hotmail account is always flooded with junk, he also forgot we had given them that email. the sender was: re-guatemala-im-enquiry ..... funny name for a sender should say Canadian immigration or something like that...

How is New Delhi so fast?! We finally got our Quebec forms sent today, brought them to the office in Montreal rather than mail them and the woman checked we had everything and everything was signed, which was great. Just have to wait 20 days for an answer!

OMG OMG!! Just thought I'd give Ecas a quick check and it's been updated.....

We received your application for permanent residence on March 9, 2011.

We started processing your application on May 13, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Not heard anything.....EEEEK....I feel a little bit ill. Is there a possibility it could be bad news?? :( I wish they'd just post what the decision was!!

Nope - I haven't had an email asking for it yet.

I posted on the Outland UK thread and another person had the same experience - ecas update and then 2 weeks later a PPR email.

I wasn't asked to send more documents and I wasn't called for interview....so, I have my fingers crossed.
