I guess everyone is quiet cause no one has any updates and am thinking it's probably going to be like this for the next 2-3 weeks as we won't hv a way of knowing what's happening with the application...
Any suggesttions to keep this thread alive till then?
I'll start with one...how abt detailing the most diffcult part that everyone found putting to gether the application?

The hardest part of our application was waiting for my FBI report. It took 7 weeks, and though I expected it to have no issues, it was still nerve-wracking because I dreaded being told that my fingerprints were un-useable and that I needed to do it again. I had to take time off work and go to the Criminal Records Division in downtown Kingston, not some place I generally want to spend time, so I was worried I would have to do it again. Thankfully, the prints were fine, the report came back OK as expected and we got everything else together within good time to get everything to CPC-M while it was still valid.

For me it was getting all the pics together (typing the info when,where & so on) and selecting chats and emails..........

Okay just checked ecas.

My spouse's address in no longer listed.

But, now in the box that says they received his application, there is another sentence saying that he has an interview on May 4, 2011.

I am not sure how they have notified him, so I will call tonight and see what info he has received.

Hopefully this is a start for everyone else!!

The hardest part for me was getting my meds done. I had to drive 4 hours to get to the closest DMP. I had an appointment scheduled about a week before going up to Canada to visit hubby for 3 weeks. They cancelled it on me a half an hour before I was scheduled to be there, after I had driven all the way into downtown Boston and was a block away from the office. I was not happy. Went to the other DMP in Boston for the second try, who was lovely, but I lost a month on getting the application in because I didn't know I could get meds done in Canada while on vacation.

Hi all, It would be highly appreciated if someone tell me that how long the Buffalo visa office takes to send File number/Medicals in case of Quebec CSQ selected applicants. I have sent my completed Federal file from Canada to Buffalo visa office in the first week of March this year and still waiting for my file number or medicals. ... Thanks guys

Its been more than a couple of months when the file is received in Buffalo before you will probably hear anything.

Since my spouse was the applicant the most difficult part for me was making sure I got all the required docs and was checking numerous times to make sure nothing was missing... it was driving me insane!

The most difficult part for me was the supplimentry info for New Delhi..they wanted all the foreign travel and residance outside India. My husband has travelled a bit and lived in so many diff addresses...had a time making sure all the forms were had the exact same dates and stuff..arrrggghhhh....I was dreaming IMM0008 til I sent the pkg!!!

Thanks for ur input @Tigilicious , Yes i think I should wait but i don't know why Buffalo visa office is too slow even in processing provincial applications too as compared to other Visa offices where even they also received same amount of applications. :-X

Not sure, just saw the update today, so will give him a call tonight to see if he received anything. And yeah he got his PPR on Apr 4 and the letter was dated for March 22. ND received it on Apr 8.
