Hi everyone!

Glad to hear that September is off to a good start. I hope my husband gets his visa soon.

My Time line:

Spousal Outland
Visa Office: Berlin
All docs, fees and medical results have been received
Started processing application for PR...: June 3, 2011
Interview...: ?
Passport Request...: waiting
Visa to be issued...: waiting
Land in Toronto...: waiting

I was approved as the sponsor end of February and file got transferred to Berlin in March and shortly after medicals were received. They requested a doc which we submitted then status changed to in process - we started processing application for PR June 3, 2011.

I have heard that Berlin processes pr as quickly as 5 weeks but hasn't been the case for me.

I'm really hoping that my husband's visa is issued soon. I also recently got the double line on e-cas as well.

fingers crossed!

hey all...

need your urgent help...
today my husband called Mississauga and asked about our landing fee which we paid in april after ppr. but they said they have not received anything.
they suggested my husband to fax the receipt of landing fee..
Can you plz tell me should we fax the same receipt to Mississauga only or we should fax it to new Delhi too ..
what else we should do to fasten-up the process.
how long it will take to register our landing fee at new delhi??

thanks

Fax it to CPC-M and New Delhi. Ensure you include a cover letter with the sponsor and applicant's names, dates of birth, file numbers and contact information.

so kind of you...
how much time it will take to sort it out?
hope its nt a so big problem...

I don't know, it depends on how quickly they can locate the payment at CPC-M and confirm it to New Delhi. Not paying the RPRF can add up to 2 months to processing time, according to CIC.

Bahaha I think I am a good luck charm. Hours after saying I am hoping they close you out soon, there you go! LOL. Hurray for a good start to September!

I could use some of your good luck.I havent heard one peep from Buffalo since I filed my app.

Have you tried a case-specific enquiry? Buffalo is one of the few visa offices that actually does reply to them from time to time. You could ask for your file number, maybe they will let you know what the results of your initial assessment was, at least ("your file is in queue for review by officer, no further documents or action required at this time", that sort of thing)...

Ive tried that a couple times.Usualy all you get Is a computer generated email responce.Except once they said they couldnt find my medical exams so I had them sent again from the doctor. The next day they sent an email saying they have been located no further action. So I guess I got one responce. The reason I got that responce was because I specificaly asked about the medical exams.

Ah, in that case, that may be as good as it gets. I have heard zip/zilch/nada/bupkiss from Kingston, in spite of dropping off additional proof of contact and sending a request for my file number and updating my work history via CSEs. Oh well. Silence is good news for me right now, hoping they don't need an interview and the first time I do hear from them they want my PP, haha.

Buffalo has had your file for 5 months now, still only about half-way through the stated average. If you're visiting with your spouse, count your blessings; if you're apart like we are, hang in there! :)

The bad thing Is people from Nov-Feb arent getting through but March on Is.They changed the computer system over and messed everything up.Thats what realy irritates me and everyone else thats dealing with Buffalo.

Yep, I have noticed that. Seems some people got the short end of the stick with the changeover. Going though Kingston, I don't expect anything else, but for speedy offices like Buffalo that can be really trying to applicants affected.

Lets hope we all here something soon.
