FEBRUARY 2011 applicants here!!

We got our PPR today by email! Our application was received on Feb 28th so we are under the new computer system and it seems to be going faster. I hope everyone hears some good news soon!

Hi there

We are applying from Switzerland and have sent our application in the beginning of February. Last week we got a letter saying that the visa is ready to be issued as soon as the final payment and medical exam gets in. We have made the final payment and have submitted the medical with the original application (right now am trying to find out whether they have received it or what the problem is here). But all in all it was much faster than expected and it looks like we can soon plan an actual date of departure and everything that comes along with it.

hey guys i m applying for spouse visa n my vo is london. i got a loan unpaid frm last 1 year i havent paid anything now its with collection agencies will tht b a problem in visa during my background check? i have seen a msg tht london vo asked a person n his wife(she was sponser n was in canada) to give them cr check report.....dont know why there might b some problem.....n if we talk abt pcc i got a clean pcc but tht is diff n security n backgroung checks r diff then tht. now i m worried abt mine....hey guys plz give me ur advice will tht b a problem?
 
it's so quiet in this thread. i guess notmuch of the february people are getting their visas :(

Hi! Ask ko lng po. Kailangan po b ipaxerox ko yung lhat n pinadala saking sulat na ppr pti yung front page kung san nandoon application number or yung 1 page lng n may nkasulat n additional requirement.?ksi sbi send a copy of this letter, is it pertaining to the page where the additional requirement is written or pti ying front page kung saan nandoon acknowledgement of receipt. Thanks!

I photocopied it.. but i sent the original.. at least that's what i did.
 
19 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!

My husband is off to Montreal on 3 days, which he is very excited about!! Maybe once he returns from that he can count down to my return HAHA He is very much distracted by being given to play in a golf championship in Montreal....all paid for!! So, can't blame him really!! HAHA Plus, it was only for one...so not like I'm missing out!! :P

Can't believe I'll be home in 19 days!!! ;D

Hey folks! Yet another Feb. applicant - I just joined this forum. Submitted outland spousal app on Feb. 10th and got sponsorship approved on March 10th. So far all my e-cas says is that Buffalo received my app on March 24th, but absolutely NO movement since then! I'm starting to get pretty disheartened, it seems like most people have at least gotten AOR by now!
I'm also a Québec case - got my CSQ with a 2-week turnaround, no problem.

I read someone posted about there being a "new system" that was implemented this spring? Can someone tell me more about it and what the deal is? Could it be why some of our applications are going slower than molasses?

I'm hoping to get PPR before September when my work permit expires. It's a working holiday program, so I can't renew it! :'(
 
Any Feb 2011 applicants dealing with the Accra visa office, please?

I am just wondering about the progress of outland spouse sponsorship applications to that visa office. I am from the May 2011 thread and itching for some good news from that office. :)
