Hey Calgary-bound I posted in the Buffalo thread but thought I'd catch you here too... I got PPR today and my BF date was Nov 21 hopefully you can use this to start a countdown?? (maybe one of those paper chains that you tear off a link each day haha!)

I hate to say it then they will probably request you to redo them.They was going to make me redo mine but I had proof I have been in Canada the whole time after I got them done so they extended them for a year.

Ohh!! (on the cat towers explanation). And yes, they will probably request new medicals. Persons who have been in Canada full-time since applying may have them extended, no such luck to those outside.

Yep we are waiting for the new medical request. Although from one of the CIC handbooks I read our VO could ask them to be extended but I doubt it.

I just hope we don't have to do an interview. Buffalo in February is not a pretty place. I think in the winter we should be able to do our interviews in Mazatlan or Aruba.

Only Accra VO could tell you that. No two visa offices operate exactly the same, and no two cases are processed alike. It is all up to the visa office.

My husband and I had a very good meeting on Skype for 2 hours with our Immigration Consultant. You know what we discovered? The notes were written SIX WEEKS AFTER THE INTERVIEW! What happened? That is why the notes are full of lies and inventions! It is totally the OPPOSITE of what my husband said or not said! Did the VO delete our notes by mistake? Did she lose them in some way and 6 weeks later decided to write another set of notes? During ALL THAT TIME, she met and talked with other people and she dealt with many applications. Somehow she mixed my husband with someone else!!! According to our IC, she should have contacted my husband and asked him to come for a second interview. This is quite bizarre!

Interview notes are supposed to be taken contemporaneously with the interview. If it is that she never wrote them up until 6 weeks after the interview, and didn't merely enter the notes in GCMS 6 weeks later (that happens), then you definitely have additional grounds for your appeal.
