Feb 13' 2021 PR ITA - Application Rejected

Hi Friends,

We got an ITA on Feb 13' 2021 with CEC lowest score 75 which got rejected with a reason as "Rejected due to marriage documents inappropriate - incomplete application".

we have provided a Notary - Affidavit + SPOUSE Passport + kids birth certificates + LOE (but not with the proper reason actual reason is missing in that but we have tried to added the comments through IRCC Agent)

So we are here to seek advice upon PR application rejection and further action of plan. Could you please let us know what needs to be done in order to request the same application (some grace period to submit the marriage certificate).

TRV expired in 2021 and applied for TRV in the month of Jan, 2021 and due to unavailability of TRV (with valid Work permit until Feb, 2022) and lockdown in INDIA, we were unable to go India to get the certificate. As per the communication with INDIAN registrar, we are required in person to issue the certificate from the Registrar office.

We don't have marriage certificate this is the only challenge we are facing currently so kindly suggest your advices.

Did you mention in the LOE that you’re missing the marriage certificate and you already requested for it but due to covid 19 service disruption in India, you won’t be able to submit it on time? Did you provide evidence that you already submitted a request to get a new marriage certificate?

Not in the LOE - we missed to explain them clearly, but we have called IRCC and asked the agent to add these comments and pass to the officer.

Oh, can be a bit tricky. You should’ve mentioned that in the LOE. When did you call IRCC?
The onus is on the applicant to make sure that you submit a complete application. If anything is missing or is not in accordance with IRCC’s requirements, it should be adequately explained.
