Hi,
Regarding my Immigration to Canada, Immigration office asked me to submit FBI Certificate within 6 weeks i.e. within 05/01/2012. I have completed finger Print on 03/19/2012 and forwarded the document same day to FBI.In this case may I get Certificate on specified time? if I do forward the same email of Canadian Immigration to me to FBI? What is the normal length of getting Certificate? In case if I could not get it on time, can I get time extension from Canadian Immigration to submit it ? Plz Help

It generally takes 8 weeks or longer to obtain a clearance letter from the FBI. CIC is aware of this, but the 60 day thing is standard language ("boiler plate") that they use in their letters. Send them a response, telling them that you have requested it and will forward it to them as soon as you have it and you will be fine.
