My wife and I applied inland in February, and I received CIC's request for my police clearance letter from the US today, with a deadline of April 16.

I sent an application to the FBI for a police clearance letter with fingerprints and payment the last week of December, back before I moved to Canada, with my then-fiancee's PO Box as the address I wanted them to send the letter to.

I still haven't received the letter and they haven't taken the payment from my debit card information. Should I submit another application to the FBI? I'm concerned that it was lost in the mail or I filled out the application wrong. On the other hand, my understanding of the processing times plus mail time makes me think there's no chance I'll get the letter back in time if I send another form today anyway, and from what I've heard it can take up to ninety days to get the letter, so it might still be on the way.

I've also heard contradictory things about whether approved FBI channelers are still accepted. I understand they're much faster. Is this an option? Are there any in the Vancouver metro area/BC, or would I have to drive back to Washington state?
