FBI Clearance - Authorized Channeler?

Hello everyone! I received my CSQ two days ago, and realized I probably should have ordered my FBI clearance a couple of months ago to facilitate my Federal application. I went to an authorized channeler this afternoon and just received my results in e-mail. Is this acceptable for the application? Has anyone gone this route? It shows the same exact information that the FBI would give. I figure I would send this along and order from the FBI now just in case Canada wants something different... thoughts?

My understanding is that the FBI clearance letter must be an original from the FBI. The letter they send has a watermark that shows up when you copy or scan the letter (it says "unauthorized copy") so that it is difficult to fake. But sending the initial information with your application and sending the FBI clearance letter once you have your file number seems quite reasonable.

I may call the visa office in buffalo and see if they can shed some light on the subject. I'd rather NOT have my application rejected due to incomplete documents. I will definitely report back if I find anything out!
