FBI Certificate - Just a fingerprint form with a stamp?

Guys,
I got FBI certificate and its just the fingerprint form (that I previously sent to them) with a stamp on the back of it saying there's no criminal record found. I'm expecting that the certificate is in the form of a letter (I got state PCC from TX & MA in the form of a letter), but, seems like i'm dead wrong on this.
I just want to make sure that this is what everyone else also get from the FBI.

Yes, that's the standard FBI certificate. Make sure the stamp says no record found

FBI can take from 1 to 3 months and they need them to see if you are not on the FBI data base, state police are minor offenses, capish?
