Fastest way to process Citizenship application for new born child in India

How to get the kid to Canada? Should we apply Canadian citizenship directly as the kid is eligible as one of the parent is Canadian. Or get the Indian passport and Canadian visit visa and bring here.

CIC mentions Canadian citizenship processing time 15 months.

So what is the fastest way or is there an expedited process for new born kids born outside of Canada? Please suggest.

1. The child can't travel on an Indian passport, as a Canadian citizen, CIC won't issue a tourist visa.
2. You can apply for proof of citizenship and limited validity Canadian passport. No idea how long it will take these days.
