Hello,

Is it my imagination or the processing time for the in Canada family class applicants is much faster?
I noticed that every Wednesday that they change the date they move two weeks or more a head in one week.
for example two weeks ago the date was updated for April 11th and on last Wednesday they changed it to April 30.
Anyone knows if something changed?
Don't get me wrong, it really makes me happy :)

Re: Faster procssing time for in canada applications(family class)

It does look like they may be making headway on the backlog. It's premature to view it as anything more than a blip, but it does look like it is moving in the right direction!

I was watching them for the past month thinking like you that it may be a sync error but they had an amazing progress every week...
Go CIC Go!! :)

They blamed the backlog on a computer system upgrade - so perhaps they've worked out the bugs and are now starting to benefit from the newer faster computer system.

Let's hope that someday they allow for mostly paperless online submissions! Imagine how much faster it would be if we didn't have to send 4kg application packages to them for consideration.

For sure :)
I am certain that in the near future they will transfer the whole process online :)
