In the above link, It states that a Fast Track LMO takes 10 days for the companies to get you an LMO. Is this true with all the professions? Also, Is that applicable in Alberta?

Yes it's true. My LMO for hotel front desk took only 2 weeks compare to normal processing time 8-10wks. My employer applied in BC.

I guess it's applicable to all Tempory Foreign Workers applications but might depends on the location where they apply your LMO. Like in BC and Alberta most of the Fast Track applications are Hotel related work so if IT related work is in-demand to where they applied your LMO your employer can request Fast Track (just my 2 cents here). By the way my husband's LMO applied in Alberta under kitchen helper, Fast Track too.
