Just a thought thinking ahead

If I was to gain my visa and PR how hard would it be for my brother to come out and live at a later date? He doesn't have a degree and the only work experience he has at the minute is a laptop repair tech so job skill B. I know I could sponsor them but do they still need to attain a certain amount of points for that?

Any thoughts would be appreciated

i think u can sponsor him later on after u file at least one Income Tax return in canada. but family sponsorship usaully takes a long time. my neighbours have juist had their flight today morning itself after almost 5 years of waiting. i think right place for u ask this qus is Family Class section of the forum.

You can't sponsor brothers under the Federal program, unless they are under 18 and orphaned.

You can sponsor brothers under the provincial nominee programs in AB, SK and MB provided you and the brother meet the requirements of the program and you need to have been living in the province for 1-2 years also.
