Family visa on work permit!

Hello!

I want to know can i apply for my family alongwith me on work permit? my LMO is in process and i will be getting front desk job. Consultants are saying its not a good idea and that your application will be rejected. Pls advise i really want to take my daughter and wife along.

1. You can apply but as your job is low/semi skilled your spouse won't be able to work so the question by CIC is how will you support your family in Canada with a minimum wage job?

Convincing means having enough funds to support for a reasonable length of time. Also verifiable source of funds would be an important factor too. Better yet, get a skilled job.

Thank you for your replies...i am trying to get a skilled job priblem is that by profession i am a lawyer and from last 2 yrs i am working as goverment contract and take road contracts and i do not falled in skilled category unfortunately....i am still trying to get a reasonable job but....lets c
