Family Unit Size - Grandparents, parents sponsorship

Hello,

I have few questions about family size & income requirement:

1. I got married in 2018 and spouse got PR in 2019. Now, I would like to sponsor my mother (father is not interested in sponsorship program). So, my family size will be considered of 4... correct?

2. I should look for LICO requirements in family size of 4 or 3 (because I am only sponsoring my mother)?

3. My gross income in 2018 was around $50k , in 2019 & 2020 it was $51k. So, am I eligible to sponsor my mother?

You need to include your father unless your parents are not married.

They are married so that means family size is of 4. In that case, am I eligible - income wise to apply?

In 2018-19, for 4 people, MNI needs to be over $60K, so not eligible. Make sure you get enough income for 2022!

Does your spouse work? If so, she can be your cosponsor to meet mni!
