Family Citizenship Inquiry

Hello,

We applied for Citizenship this July 2012 as a family and my dad is the principle applicant. My parents decided to move in Calgary next month (October) but my older brother decided to stay here in Vancouver. I already update our address in CIC of our new home in Calgary except my brother.

My question is, how will the processing works in our situation ?
Will ALL of our application including my brother be processed in Calgary since my dad is the primary applicant ?
or my brother's file will be processed in Vancouver and rest in Calgary?
Please enlighten me.

If you applied as a family, it usually means all your applications will be processed together. I would say probably in Calgary because most of you are there. You should call the CIC call centre and ask what will happen. Maybe it is possible to split your brothers application away from the rest of you, at least if he is an adult. He could have his own application and get it processed where he lives instead of having to come visit you for his test and oath. Unless you really want to do it together that is.
