Thank you all for the good and (funny) info.

I guess a few more pages of Sniping Tools caps on Word won't hurt the planet's trees

See you all

From what I could tell on both of my laptops, print screen is gone. I had to use the Snipping Tool. Just type it into the search bar (in Windows if that's your OS).

Or copy/paste. Faster with a mouse with a scrolling wheel!

Personally, I only included 1-2 conversations per month, just to show we had regular contact and discussed "marriage" type topics. That got me 70 pages on Yahoo! 30 pages Skype. 13 FB. We have a pretty straight forward case though, no red flags or issues.

I copied and pasted the most important sites of our facebook, like our status change to married and the comments on it and pics we posted up and some conversations of family and friends, whatever was important and suppports our story and ya sure took some time to sort out the most important stuff, i didnt take too much (dont think CIC wants to go through a lot of them, they dont have the time for that), i think i had about 6 sites maybe. Once i printed it out (i copied and pasted it into MS word) I handwrited on it for some explanation, like circled/underlined a relatives or friends name, explaining who it is and what we did, like "my sister commenting on our trip to......", "one of my husbands friends commenting on our marriage" and so on.
Hope that helps.

copying and pasting I think is not a good option, as this makes it vulnerable to editing, the best way is to screen capture everything which is difficult to edit it and looks more genuine,
beside some formatting will be lost while pasting it

It worked in my case well, my case got done fast, i dont really had much other option back then. Plus me explaining stuff on it handwritten can only be done by me....they can compare my hand writing to the other papers since there was some that you still had to fill out by hand, plus only me knows details about the trips and the people on it and such.

I am using Mozilla Firefox 7.. do I have to type "Snipping Tool" into the search bar and download it?

I did copy/paste and pasted into MS word document program. its easier that way. whew..it is LOT of work to be done before mailing it out to my Immigration Lawyer for appeal case.

Snipping Tool is a Windows feature. It works on anything on the screen. As long as you use Windows as your Operating System, it will work.

Heres what I did.

You log into your facebook, go to your partners page. Next to where it says messages theres a little wheel type symbol. Click on that and go to See Friendship. Comes up with all the comments and posts and everything between the 2 of you. You have to scroll all the way to the bottom to the beginning of when you became facebook friends to make sure everything is loaded. Then you can either print that right there. Or, when you go to print change your printer setting to save to PDF. That is what we did. then printed it later when we had everything gathered. Its a good little trick!

Hi all

This is all nice but most of us do not have English conversations in our Facebooks
For example when I speak to my spouse it is never in English. Any other ideas?

Even though its not in english I would still send it. I mean i dont think it would be worth translating as Facebook convos and comments should not be your strongest evidence of your relationship. Its just something that helps support your relationship right?

Translate it. The VO needs to see your relationship is "marriage like." If they can't read it, they won't know. If you lots of other proof, you could skip this, but I wouldn't.

You might be right, but isnt that going to be a bit much. I mean i dont no about the cost of a translator where you are but I can imagine if you have 100's of pages thats going to cost ALOT of money.
