Hi, friends. I have secured 6.0 bands in IELTS with no band less than 5.5. I don't require IELTS score for admit from Universities for PhD course. So I want to ask that will there be any problem with F1 VISA with mentioned IELTS band score OR it will sanction??

Hey if you are studying in Canada then you dont need an F1 visa you need a study permit instead...But if you are talking about the US, Well! you have to perform really well in your interview so they can grant you a visa..
your IELTS scores are not exactly great but am sure if you are going for your phd (sorry if i am wrong) then you must have a good academic record. but then again it depends on how you perform at the interview, you just have to convince the VO that you deserve it

Yes, I have good academic records. In P.G. I have secured 66.71%. I have so far published 3 International research articles and have presented posters at National level Poster Presentation Competition and won prizes also. Many more......
and I am applying for Canada.....so chances of study permit for PhD ???
