extension of time to respond to procedural fairness letter

Hi,

We got procedural fairness letter for parents visitor extension and were given time of 60 days to reply and this 60-day limit is coming to end. I am wondering if anyone applied for extension and CIC granted more time to reply. If anyone has any idea how to apply for extension and what is the process please help.

I don't know if you can extend the timeframe for additional information. Why do you need to extend the deadline?

Because the lawyer we were dealing with said to reply to cic near the end of time limit and now he’s not replying to emails or phone calls

Your best option now is to call CIC and explain the situation to them and hope, otherwise you need to submit information now. You may also have a reason to complain to the Law Society of the province in which the lawyer is licensed - he's licensed, right?
