Extending Study Permit and TRV from India

Hello everyone,
I have been in studying in Canada since Sept 2010 (have been to India for vacations in between). My study permit and TRV is to expire on 30th July, but I will require one more Fall term to complete my graduation. As I am aware, we have to apply for a new study permit and then a TRV.
The problem I am facing is, I have to leave for India due to family reasons by April end (after winter term ends) and I will be in India for the summer. I would have preferred to get my study and TRV extension before leaving for India, but as we can only apply a maximum of 90 days in advance, it is not an option.
So, what I will have to do is to apply for a new study permit from India I guess ? Will I need to apply for TRV seperately ? And as far as I am aware, I can only apply for a new study permit from India,not an extension ? So will I be issued a new permit while my current one hasn't expired ? Like I apply by 1st May in Delhi,and my current expires on 30th July. My results, grades are good, I can provide enough proof of funds,therefore I should not encounter any problems while applying for an extension I guess-I will just need one more term to complete my graduation.

yes,I also think so.

So will I be issued a new permit while my current one hasn't expired ?
I guess so.

By the way have you considered applying online for the extension.

Thanks a lot for the reply, I read about applying online for the permit, I can do that from India as well, but the question is doesn't it say that you have to BE in Canada for to apply online ? And even if I do apply online, where will they mail me the permit- I will be in India. Or is is possible to apply online for an extension from India and I won't need to apply through VFS. I don't know about this.

That's why I suggested you about applying online.

I don't think extension can be applied from INDIA by paper but I didn't found anything saying you can't apply online but it will depend on ELIGIBILITY questionnaire which you will need to fill before APPLYING ONLINE.If they require your passport during online application I guess you can send it through Courier and also receive it.

You will be applying for new Study permit and this permit has TRV included in it.
