I'm new to the forum. So, if the topic has already been discussed, kindly forgive and help.
My husband and I received our PPR today( 10th July, 2017) after waiting for 3 months. And the deadline is on Aug 9. Unfortunately we are all set for a oneweek trip to Australia between 25th July - 3rd Aug (which can't be postponed due to personal reasons). Since here in India, the processing time for passport will take more than 10 days, we have no other option than to submit it after coming back, which leaves us only with 3 working days and a weekend, which is a risk. So my query is:
1) Will CIC entertain a request for extending deadline in such circumstances?
2) And if so, is there any particular format to follow, inorder to make such a request?
I request experienced seniors to kindly advise as soon as possible. Thanks a lot in advance
