Extending my student visa from within Canada

Hi everyone,

I'm sure this has been answered already tens of times before, but bare with me...

My study permit (and visa) both expired last year. I extended the permit (by filling the online application) and now I have a valid student permit. However, my visa on my passport is expired and I need to renew it.

It is my understanding that I need to fill out a form and send it along with my passport, a copy of my permit, my transcripts, a proof of enrolment and proof of financial support to the consulate in Buffalo. Am I missing anything?

Also, can someone link me to the application form...I heard they made a new one 2 weeks ago.


How long should the whole thing take if I mail out the application by, say, November 5th (from Toronto)?

no you don't miss any thing . as I read in their website

that's correct it looks a new application but not much differnts than the one I did 2 months ago they only offer the option to fill it on the computer and then print it not big deal

how long I don't know about bufflo ,, in seattle it took one month to send it back to me
