extend work visa and Permanet Resident application

Good morning, I'm in the middle of all the paper work for my Permanent Resident application and I need to apply for a Extension of my work visa and the student visa for my daughter, the process for the permanent resident takes around 13 months according with the immigration process times for the PR, my visa expires on September 15 -2014. I'm filling out the application for extend Work visa but I'm wondering If I need a new contract job to support my stay in Canada? What should I do? btw I'm working in Calgary since August 20-2012. and my job offer letter was per 2 years

Hey once you submit your application for PR under CEC and you receive your AOR you will be eligible to apply for a BOWP(Bridge open work permit). You will be able to get this work permit once you're still in Canada, Receive AOR and your current WP expires within 4 months. This would be the best option.
