Extend date to land Canada.

Good morning.

I am really happy , I got yesterday my visa for permanent resident, but I am worried because immigration gave me just 1 month to land Canada. I know that if I do not land around this month I will loose it.

My question is: Can I ask them for more time to land Canada, 1 month is not enough to get everything ready in my country.

Extensions are not granted. You must land by the expiry date. Otherwise the visa becomes useless and you have to start the application process from scratch. However you can certainly come to Canada for a day or two just to land (before the expiry date on your visa) and then return back to your country immediately.

if you have friends or relatives you can give their address and u can ask them to send it to you for your return to canada, take one week leave to make all things happen then u can go back
