Hey folks,

I realize that the processing time for Express Entry is within 6 months, but what's the minimum that someone here has gotten their PR after getting an ITA and submitting their documents? How long does it usually take for a fairly straight forward application.

Also, I'm an Indian national. Would getting Canadian PR help me with getting a US immigrant-visa? Or I'd still be treated as an Indian citizen? I currently fall under category-B in Canada, and will fall under "Skilled Worker" under the Immigrant visa category. Any suggestions about what my options are about US immigration are appreciated :)

You will be assessed as an Indian citizen.

Each profile is different. There is no set processing time. I got my PR in 67 days where one of my client received it in 35 days. So it purely depends on the case.

More travels, more employers : more processing time.

Forget PR even if you get Canadian citizenship that won't help you in anyway in getting US immigrant visa.

Thats not true in all scenarios. My travel history is very extensive and I have multiple employers yet my application was processed and approved in under 35 days.
