by using sort tool you can see your standing position.

Can you explain a bit more? I downloaded the sheet and on what fields do I have to apply sort? Or else can you do that and update the sheet? ;D

I see that you have 42% against your nam e.. that means you have 41% people ahead of you .. in a group of 100, you are placed at 41

DEAR SENIOR,

MY APPLICATION FOR FSWP 2014 WAS RETURNED BECAUSE IT WAS INCOMPLETE. KINDLY TELL ME, SHOULD I HAVE TO GIVE UCI NUMBER FOR EXPRESS ENTRY PROFILE CREATION.
THANKS FOR YOUR OPINION

if you have it then you should provide it .. it will be the correct representation .. however, if you don't have UCI, then mark NO in EE profile where it asks if you have applied before..

There are 8 applicants in the spreadsheet who have answered "Yes" in "Job offer" field, but DON'T have +600 added to their score. What does it mean? Is it because they don't have LMIA yet? Or are these simply mistakes? Here is the list:
Row # Forum ID
183 Alex1988
392 cec
403 starsniper_11
406 chard1968
407 oussama20131
419 doubleym
437 Milton
443 olivia0505
I think that I have seen at least one of these forum members, doubleym, being active in the forum, maybe he can clear up this question?
By the way, I think "Job offer" should be renamed to "LMIA" in the spreadsheet, to prevent confusion. If I had a job offer without a LMIA, I might have misunderstood the field and answered "Yes".

I was just about to post about this. I think all persons on the SS with 600 points added for job offer or PNP should remove it as no one has received LMIA for those job offers. Also, none of the PNPs given before Jan 1st is counted to be best of my knowledge.

If these 600 points are removed, it will give a fairer view of the SS.

Yes, for example I have a job offer, but no LMIA or nomination at this time, so I don't have the extra 600 points in the sheet.

I'm not sure of anyone with a valid PNP yet, and I think some people have valid LMIAs from their existing work permits so I'm sure some people's entries are correct, however I'm also sure that some people have added 600 points just because they have a job offer, even though they have no LMIA.

based on our spreadsheet if we ignore people with Canadian experience, the average score is 374 and median score is 369. But this information is not useful because out data is highly left skewed. I think the percentile distribution of scores gives more information. The percentile or Quantile distribution is given below.
Quantile Estimate
100% 482
99% 481
95% 464
90% 446
75% 412
50% 369
25% 345
10% 316
5% 301
1% 206
0% Min 102
I hope this clarifies some questions. 482 is highest score. If your score is 446 or more you are in top 10%, if it is more than 464 you are in top 5%, if more than 425 in top 15%, if it more than 412 you are in top 25%.

Dear friends,

I am going to rename it to LMIA.. but eventually it depends on people who fill this out ..

secondly, I am not sure what to do with people who have given less than 600 and selected YES against either job offer or PNP..

I hope in long run it evens out ...

Hi Amar,

don't be worried by these scores and don't compare CRS with FSW score system .. there are obvious differences between the two, such as:
1. FSW gave points for relatives in Canada
2. Wifes education had no points in FSW

plus many more..

In my case I am scoring 471 in EE and 83 in FSW..

EE is meant to be a filter system, and to be picked you need to have both the following:
1. Be eligible to one of the programs (ie more than 67 for FSW in your case)
2. Have a good EE score so as to be picked for ITA

73 gives you point 1
348 is a little on lower side but can be improved with your spouses ECA and IELTS.. there is intelligent guessing going around and I would say if you are interested, start work to better your scores in EE..

regards

They are most probably not mistakes....I have a job offer and currently working on PGWP, which is LMIA exempt. Therefore I dont get the 600 points
