Express Entry Rejection

Hi,

I applied under Express Entry in March and attached all the documents and applied for BOWP since my work permit was valid till May 03, however my application got rejected because my Australia PCC was for "Complete Disclosure" and not for the Code number 35 which is a requirement from CIC.

Since my work permit is expired and CIC also made decision on my BOWP.

Can anyone tell me what are all the options to stay in canada and also able to work. I have got another invite in last draw .

Hi,
if you are in closed work permit.request your employer to file for extension immediately.you will buy some more time for your decision.

Since his/jer work permit is already expired he/she needs to remember to request a restoration of a status as well. otherwise, application will be rejected.
In case it was an open work permit, you can request restoration of a status and change the status to a visitor.

Hi,

I was no closed work permit and 5 year cap for ICT work permit ended on May 03.

Can you please let me know if apply for restoration, will I be able to continue to work and how much time would it take.

My lawyer is not giving me clear suggestions. Can I apply for restoration or is there any way which will allow me to stay and work till the time I decision on my new PR application which I am going to file this week.

No - you can't work while waiting for restoration. You're out of status in Canada. You have to stop waiting immediately. You cannot start working again until your restoration application has been approved.
