Regarding Express Entry:

- I got a Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting,

- I’m currently studying to get a Master’s Degree in Higher Education. I’ll get it done by May next year.

- I passed an ECPE exam (Michigan) last year and I’m planning to take the IELTS exam next year in order to apply for Express Entry.

- I got an intermediate level in French, I used to have a high level, but since I don’t practice it very often, it got rusty. I’m planning to take the TEF Canada next year as well.

- I’m Peruvian, 28 yo, single but may marry my gf (21yo) next year to apply for the PR in Canada. She works as an English teacher as well and has a high level in English. She doesn’t speak French though. She’ studied six months at a language institute to get a EFL certificate but it is not a degree.

- My current occupation is teaching English as a foreign language (language instructor: NOC 4021). I have been teaching for two years now. It’s not that related to my major, but I have an Education career too. I studied a 5-month course to get a certificate in order to teach in a very well known language school here in Lima. I could get a work certificate if I request it.

- I’ve also taught EFL in an IT Institute a couple of years ago for 8 months. I got a work certificate from that institution.

- I also got experience as a freelance translator, even though I don’t have any receipts from the agencies I’ve worked for in the past.

My questions are:
- Would my EFL certificate be considered in the process?
- Is my masters going to be accepted as a master’s in Canada? Or will
Most likely be considered as a one-year postgraduate diploma?
- is it better to marry my gf before starting with the process or after I have applied?
Thank you
