So far I've spent a lot of time and effort gathering a lot of documents but now only need my Police Check Certificates to arrive from the UK and I can submit.

What's the process once submitted?

Once you submited PR application, IRCC will process the majority of complete applications (meaning those with all the necessary supporting documents) in six months or less. In my case, it took 70 days to get PR.

Good to know! I've been super careful to make sure everything has exactly what CIC require. Added complication is I mentioned my now common law girlfriend (Canadian by birth) and my Parents (recently got their Canadian passports) in my EE profile and have had to submit girlfriends, her mums and also my mums Canadian passport scans. Adds to the weight of the application I guess.
