Hi all,

I recently got the email from CIC to send in my passport. However, they have requested the usual Xpress Post Pre-Paid envelope but my instructions include NOT to write my address on it. Now most of my friends who completed their Express entry PR last year told me that they had to write the address on the envelope.

This may seem like a silly question but worth asking here on the forum rather than risking a lazy CIC official from not writing my address on the envelope. Can others who recently got the PPR confirm this change in process and that they received their passport back even when they did not write their address on the prepaid return envelope?

Thanks in advance!

Print off a label or a pre cut bit of paper with your name and address on and include it in the envelope. Then you can cover both scenarios.

Same thing to me. They don't want my address to write on the return Xpress Post envelope. However, you have to sign Annex A , which contains your current mailing address. So, I guess this new change they made.

Thanks for the tip @kryt0n. Luckily I found a friend of a friend who confirmed that the process has changed. He sent the passport and completed the flag pooling as well so rest assured it should be fine.
