Good analysis. The rate of new profiles above 450 CRS in July is also consistent with the overall rate in the first six months of the year. 12,017 invitations in six months without dropping below 450 would result into a 24,000 invitations in the full year provided the rate of new profiles above 450 does not reduce. This means candidates like me in the range of 400 to 450 have to actively pursue for improving their score through IELTS or try for a provincial nomination.

Please see third para under heading "Invitation Rounds", they have mentioned that a large number of foreign nationals already working in Canada were received ITA; so future number of invitations would not supposed to follow past trend as you have guessed; nevertheless acquiring more points would always keeps candidates in safe side.

I heard that planned migration to Canada in 2015 is about 160.000-186.000 people. There were only about 900 people who received visas under EE program. It makes me wonder about other thousands that get to Canada by other means. Can someone explain to us this mystery? What is going on here? I know, there are still older programs that are still in place and take some time to close down completely. If Canada is to meet migration plans mentioned above, it means many thousands of people are still to be processed this year. Does it mean that in a year or so, number of ITA for EE will increase at least tenfold? These are questions that really bug me. If someone can clarify it for me I'll be very grateful.

As posted by some members even I feel that number of new applicants with 450+ score would reduce going forward.

Reasons:
1. Maximum people working already in Canada have applied through EE. I suppose they would definitely fall under this slot of CRS score.
2. For many who have had applied last year or so must have re applied through EE in order to speed up the process.

However, there is another factor here. People who got rejected would re apply and get into the pool with their high score making it again difficult for the cut off to drop lower.

1500 people are joining the pool each week, but we see that it is not impacting the number of candidates below 450 much. So, I guess it is the people who are re applying again.

Nobody knows how the things shall move ahead ! However, I am hopeful of getting an ITA at CRS 427 by December this year. I am a realist but may be I am trying to be optimist here :-\

For 2015 CIC has target of 47000 to 51000 under FSW. Does this number include only the principle applicants or their families also. If this number include family members then taking average 3 members per family the number if ITAs are reduced to one third of 47000. Any ideas?

This is my prediction as per the CIC report, I think there is possible change of decrease in CRS score because cic need to complete their target by EOY. Please have look and think and advise.

Number of ITA's cannot be derived from that number because that is the planned immigration number for FSW & FST streams for this year. For starters, it doesn't include CEC or PNP. It doesn't include the applications cleared from the backlog of previous years. It does count the entire family size so you are right in assuming that the actual number of PAs being cleared would be much lesser than that number.

Doesn't matter. Those numbers are the sum total of all FSW & FST applicants including PA/spouse/common-law partner/dependent children.

Just to highlight one thing which you might have missed out to take into account while announcing these predictions:

"Every week 1500 new profiles are added into EE pool."

So that will make the number of people in pool vary every week..

This number includes main applicants + family members + applicants of the previous year who their applications are in process!

Relax guys soon the score will come down to 390 level . Number of ita will increase y becoz of election on 19 October in canada.
