Hello guys,
I went through the my medical for express entry. There was a scar on my chest X-ray. Then PP referred me to specialist. After few tests specialist found that I have sarcoidosis. He said, I don't need any treatment. There is 80% chance it will go always on its own.
But I am scared that how cic will take my case. I will really appreciate if anyone has any info?

CIC will probably have same attitude as the specialist.
If the specialist says it will most likely go away on its own, then it is unlikely CIC will consider it as a "burden" on the medical system.

Thank you for reply. I am just scared and I can not any reference on internet where anyone was refused or allowed with this condition :( :(

There are two main reasons for medical inadmissibility:

1) If it's likely that you will become a large financial burden on Canada's health system

2) If you present a health risk to Canada (because you have an infectious disease, e.g.)

Seems like (1) is improbable given that your condition doesn't require any treatment. And you would know about (2) if it was the case.

Bottom line: seems like you have nothing to worry about.

I really appreciate your response and yes I confirmed with specialist. As per him it is not contagious or anything.
I am just worried about Excessive demand Health. As he mention, I do require regular checkup once every 3 months but no treatment required

If CIC were contemplating rejecting you on the basis of medical inadmissibility, they would still first issue a Fairness Letter to you, allowing you to make your case for how and why something like this won't be a burden on Canadian healthcare. In the absolute worst case, you get the chance to make your case there.
In the more likely, best case, this won't matter- people have gotten through their medicals with far more serious problems without issues, such as chronic bronchitis/asthma, occult blood, and so on. You'll be fine.

Thank you for response. I went through Federal courts cases in Canada against CIC. I haven't found any cases where applicants were refused because of sarcoidosis. I am hoping for best and I am glad that this condition will go away on its own. So, nothing to worry about health wise :) :)

Hi MISJ,
I am also diagnosed Sarcoidosis I stage and willing to relocate to Canada. It is also important for me to know if there are issues in such condition or no, before starting the application procedure as it costs time, money and associated feeling. kindly keep this thread updated with relevant information.
All the best
