So, your case is far simple then. You should be least worried.
Just write a Letter of Explanation on 1st page explaining the situation.
Explain that your employer is Ontario based and you are working for client site in Montreal.
Do you have a fixed contract in Montreal ?

No I don't. It all depends on client dependency. Were you asked for any additional explanation by the officer or needed to upload any explanation letter?
