Hi,

I would like to find out with the current trend of score dropping in the CIC draws, is it possible to expect a score as low as 420 as my score is 425 and eagerly waiting for it or do you think I should apply for any other program to immigrate to Canada.

Regards,
Ameer
Hi Ameer,

Welcome to the forum. IMO scores will go down to 420 by July this year. However, I would advise you do everything in you power to improve your score, including retaking your IELTS exam until you get the most out of it.

Also keep an eye on a thread called "RAY OF HOPE", you will find many people who are in your shoe there.

All the best

Hello Experts,

Have questions regarding personal history:

1. There is a gap of one week between employments , Where should I mention. (there isn't any place holder for date though, its in MM/YYYY format)?
Will it be Sep/2012 - Sep/2012 ?

2. For my spouse, there is gap of a year between high school and graduation, under which category this would go in ? Unemployed ??

Please suggest.

Another similar question on personal history:
As my Work permit extension refused on X date, though I was employed I did not work for 4-5 days and returned to my home country. This need not be mentioned as unemployed, right ? I am getting reference letter till X date for my deputation.

For POF, As I got ITA under CEC class, I dont need to show proof of funds. So should I upload LOE in POF place holder and put the amount to 0?

If you were working till date X and you stopped working after that, you can write the dates X - Y (or till present) and mention what you were doing - traveling/unemployed etc.

Yes, if you were invited to apply under CEC, you do not need to show POF. You can mention the funds as 0 and upload a letter in the placeholder generated for POF mentioning that you are not showing POF because you were invited to apply under CEC.

Immigration Medical Exam number = IME number. If IRCC has sent instructions to do medical exam for your dependents, you'll find this number on the request letter they sent.

Hello Friends -

Is there any seperate thread of Post ITA discussions? I received the ITA in the last draw and was working on the documents.
I had a couple of questions and I am pretty sure that they must have already been answered so just wanted to get directions for the right link , if any one has it? I am posting my questions as well. Please be gentle and point me to the link if these have already been answered.

1. For the experience letter, if my current employer is not issues a certificate with job duties than what can be done? Is there any format/template?
2. Do I get any documents/forms to get the medical exam done?

Thanks.

1 - Ask a manager or a colleague to write a declaration of your duties and notarize this document.
2 - No, simply book an appointment with a clinic from the panel of physicians.

Nope, not an issue... but you must make sure that your responsabilities are also listed in that letter.

Hi Tanaka,

Thank you for your reply, it definately gives hope.

However I am really trying to figure out best ways to increase my score and only way it is possible is by adding additional diploma or certificate to my education as my ielts score is almost maxed out.

I would like to know if you would be able to help me understand on how to achieve Two or more certificates under education qualification as it says minimum 1 degree or certificate should be 3 years, so would it mean I can get a fast track diploma or certificate within 6 months and use it for this qualification of two or more certificates ? I am already a Engineering Graduate (4 years) so an additional short term course should give me that qualification.

Also do you know if WES can clarify on this as ECA will be via them and also help on it.

Please advise.

Regards,
Ameer
