Express Entry - e-APR submitted in December 2016

Dear all,
I am OINP-O applicant, I would like to ask how you know with visa officer you belong to? I submitted my e APR when I was in France. Is my file processing at the VO Paris or Ottawa?

Applied from US (india originally) under pnp-o on Dec 25, 2016. Medical passed on Mar 20, 2017. Background changed to"Next step is to perform a background check" same day as medical passed. Haven't changed since.

Worried as most others from dec 2016 have had background status to 'We are processing' or ' Not applicable'.

Anyone else having similar circumstances?

BG IP1: Criminality check. At this stage, an agent checks the police certificates on your file. If all is good, then an immigration officer will update your Criminality check to Pass. Criminality is performed around the same time as your medical.

BG IP2: Security check. At this stage, they will check with CSIS and other security agencies to see if you had any criminal activities in your records or if you pose a security threat to Canada

When BG IP2 is passed, an officer will conduct a final review and will give you PPR.

Most get PPR direct mail, but a few have reported a CIC account update.

Its seems that CIC going to take more time for Dec PNP-Inland ? this is 5th month but no update .. Now even background check started.
