As I have noticed from few GCMS notes, when your file is in LVO, which means your R10, A11.2 and criminality would have passed. However eligibility will be rechecked at LVO.

Hello People,

Please add my information as well.

ITA received: 2nd November'16
E-APR: 7th December'16
AOR: 7th December'16
Medical passed: 17th December'16
I'm FSW - Outland
CRS: 472
VO would be New delhi

My Application looks like this:
Application/Profile Status: Open
Review of eligibility: Review in Progress
Review of Medicals: Passed
Review of submitted documents: No additional documents required at this time
Scheduling an interview: Not needed at this time
A background check is needed:Not needed at this time
Final decision: Not started

Its been 45 days since I have submitted my application and 34 days since medical passed. I didn't realize but I guess my background check changed from Not Started to Not Needed at this time between 17th December to 26th December. Does this give any idea what stage my file would be in?

Thanks in advance.

No, the only way to know is through GCMS notes, but these are usually delivered to you 35-40 days after you put the request. Usually R10 would take 1 to 1.5 months, but given December had holidays, and the high number of ITA issued lately, we can anticipate delays. My AOR is 06 December and medical passed on 08 December, so I assume the application is still in R10 stage.

How would we know if our application is at the LVO? Is GCMS the only way or BG status can tell us more than what it displays?

Yes GCMS will tell you about the LVO. The other one is if you raise a CSE. However you can't raise a CSE unless you may want update your info or something like that.

Yes Rob2K. I emailed Ottawa and the said my application is being processed at my LVO. Sometimes in December, my application was at CIO in Sydney Novia Scotia

Cool, but would you telling me what you emailed the Ottawa office ? and to what ID did you email. As I said your R10, A11.2 and criminality would have been passed. Can you pls let me know the dates of BG status change.

The email is CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

My medical changed Dec 7 to passed. At that point too, My BG changed from Not Started to not Needed at this time. Nothing has changed since then

Thanks mate. What probably would have happened in your case is : 05/12 - eAPR AOR, 07/12 - R10&Medicals would have got passed, and whenever the other status changed your A11.2 and Criminality would have passed. This is how the flow has happened according to the few GCMS which i have had a look at. But it may vary as well I really dont know.

Did you get any additional doc request at all ? and how many PCC's did you submit ?

No additional document requested.

PCC: 1 for myself. 2 for my Spouse.

Cool, then wait for RPRF request if you haven't paid upfront, if paid your could expect your PPR. Good luck. You can also order GCMS notes and see for more details. Good luck..

Hi Guys,

CIC is mentioning on their website: "For all other applications you must select the visa office that serves your country of nationality or the country where you have been legally admitted for at least one year."

I have been living in my country of residence for 8 months only when I submitted my eApr. does that mena my LVO will be my country of nationality?
