Is USA considered as Inland? I am in USA and over one month now, not even medicals passed :(

Inland and outland are made up terms - IRCC doesn't use these AFAIK. Applicants from the US are outland applicants IMO.

Medical changing to passed can take any time between 3 days to 1.5 months. Also as Raj said, anybody applying for PR outside of Canada is considered Outland, IMO.

There is a certain concept of safe/unsafe countries in the security check progress, the safe countries are tend to be processed faster. You can see these from analysis too. :)

Yes, I am aware of that and I do agree with you. However, I do NOT want to discuss the processing time in any more detail on the "safe/unsafe countries" front in a public forum such as this keeping in mind the sentiments of people who might be reading from those countries - people have different opinions and nobody wants their country to be portrayed in bad light.

Some November applicants, mostly CEC Inland applicants, have started getting their PPR mail.

Feb-end should start to bless this group with some PPRs too.

This is the second inland applicant to get PPR (in November thread). The rest are FSW-Outlands.

Hi Guys,

If ones application is now at the Local Visa Office, what does this signifies?

I mean what aspect of the application process has been completed? R10 and R11 ( Not sure about these codes).

Just a quick question related to ghost emails.

I received one when my meds changed to Pass but none when BGC changed from NN to NS.

Does anyone know if ghost emails are sent when BGC status changes from NN to NS or NS to IP?

If you see a change followed by a ghost email (or if the e-mail comes in after there is an update on your application), then it is NOT a ghost e-mail.

You call it a ghost e-mail only when there is an e-mail that says there is an update to your profile but you do NOT see any updates on your profile whatsoever.

Off late, some applicants have not been receiving any updates on their myCIC account (they login at a random time and see an update such as medicals being set to "Passed" or a change in BG status.

Hello People,

Please add my information as well.

ITA received: 2nd November'16
E-APR: 7th December'16
AOR: 7th December'16
Medical passed: 17th December'16
I'm FSW - Outland
CRS: 472
VO would be New delhi

My Application looks like this:
Application/Profile Status: Open
Review of eligibility: Review in Progress
Review of Medicals: Passed
Review of submitted documents: No additional documents required at this time
Scheduling an interview: Not needed at this time
A background check is needed:Not needed at this time
Final decision: Not started

Its been 45 days since I have submitted my application and 34 days since medical passed. I didn't realize but I guess my background check changed from Not Started to Not Needed at this time between 17th December to 26th December. Does this give any idea what stage my file would be in?

Thanks in advance.

As I have noticed from few GCMS notes, when your file is in LVO, which means your R10, A11.2 and criminality would have passed. However eligibility will be rechecked at LVO.
