Today, the status of my medicals changed from Not needed at this time to Review in Progress and the Review of documents status got updated from blank to No Additional documents are needed at this time. Happy that there is some progress atleast. Wish everyone on this forum a very Happy new year. Hopefully our next new year will be in Canada.

Initially it will be blank. Mine changed to no additional docs required when my medicals got passed. Nothing to worry. :)

Thanks for confirming. Does this change mean that completeness check has been done?

I have a similar timeline to you- ITA 2 Nov, eAPR 8 Dec and had the same status change as you describe above on 21 Dec (email 22 Dec). Good to see that CIC is working hard through the holiday season. What's a bit worrying is that our medicals have changed to review in progress rather than being passed straight away. Do you have any medical history?

I like your positive message on the next new year hopefully being in Canada!

No idea man! I guess for the time being they don't need additional docs. To my knowledge there have been cases when there was an additional doc requests in later stages though the above change had happened.

Wish you all a Happy New Year in advance.

I do not have any medical history. But my wife was adivsed to undergo additional medical tests to clarify the scar that appeared on her chest xray. She took the additional tests on Dec 5th. We expected this delay in the medical results. But the fact that they have looked at my application and provided an update makes me happy.
P.S : My wife is not going to accompany me to Canada. She is not part of the application.
