What "Following steps" thy asked you to complete ?

They asked for a status update in case of any changes like separation etc, and for passport submission with 2 photocopies.

Just send them what they asked even EXTRA and let them know theres no change on your application (if not) on the same email ID .
I hope you ll receive the response with in today for accpetance.

I received the PPR e-mail on Feb 23!!!

Sent the passports right away, but they haven't reached the VO (Sao Paulo) yet, as we are in a country-wide holiday (carnival) until wednesday noon.

What I find interesting is on My CIC the status until now is still Background Check In Progress.

Is everything ok? Can I buy the tickets? If so, please update!

My house is already a mess, as we are trying our best to sell lots of stuff, as well as make other preparations for a probable landing in the first days of may.

Congrats... Your BC will probably remain in progress until they issue your visa. It's probably safer to wait for you te get your PPs back before buying the tickets, although the chance of you getting refused is practically nil at this point they could delay issuing your visa of any number of reasons and you may need to rebook your flight. ;-)

BTW, what's your timeline?
