Express entry creating a new profile

I created a new GC key for a new express entry profile after old one expired .I got to know later that I could have used the same GCkey , but now it’s too late
Do I revoke the old GC key ??
Also when asked if I have submitted an application to IRCC Canada do I say yes or no since it was just express entry I did and never got invitation to apply
