Hi All,

I got the ITA on May 1st 2019 and submitted all the documents on May 27th 2019, I got an update about the rejection due to incompleteness on July 5th and was asked to create a new application and previous fees will be refunded.

Below were the comments
your application does not include the following elements:
- Marriage certificate is unacceptable. If you were married outside Canada, a copy of a legal certificate issued by the country, the territory or the region where the marriage took place must be provided
Note: A full review of your application was not performed. There may be other elements, not identified above, which may also be missing or incomplete.

I submitted a new Application again and have got the invite, I want to know and need somebodies help just to be sure that is this the only discrepancy(marriage certificate) on my application or are these the standard reasons they use for rejection and my application was completely reviewed before they rejected or is it yet to go through further reviews other than stated reason as well!

Much appreciate the information on this.

Thanks,
Amrith

The message clearly states - "A full review of your application was not performed". So it is advisable for you to double check your application before submitting. It is yet to go through further reviews other than stated reason :)

Thanks for your reply. I will subject my application to further scrutiny before submission this time..

Hi All,

Meanwhile is their anyone who had faced similar situation and got further scrutiny/rejection so that I would be well aware of the situations before the submission. even though I go through detailed scrutiny as I am planning to take legal advice on my application.

Appreciate your replays.

Thanks,
