My son had to leave his Canadian wife, home and job to return to England whilst his Express Entry visa application was processed - we understood if there was anything outstanding on the application they would notify us - we heard nothing - then on paying for a GCMS Application Request for a break down of the application in October after the advised 6 months processing date had passed, we discovered that back in the month of April they had noted there was no documentation of his job description from his employer and this had put it under review - we had had no notification they needed this. On discovering this, my son sent in a confirmation letter from his Canadian employer stating his job description in the hope that this was the missing piece of information - the receipt of this was acknowledged but we have heard nothing since. And recently we requested another GCMS Application breakdown, and this is still stating the same things - there seems to have been no movement on it at all.
What is compounding the situation is that last year his wife's mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and this looks now to be in its final stages - he needs to get back home to his wife to support her.
Please can anyone advised if there is anything else we can do to get this application reviewed - things are getting desperate, and his wife suffers with sometimes severe mental health issues and I am fearful for her wellbeing.
