I am not sure but I think it will not hurt to submit CSE with the extra document

No you do not qualify for work experience during your studies..

your studies have to be full time

and your work experience should be full time too.
If you are applying under FSW category then your experience should count as there is no requirement for work experience to be gained not during studies. However if you are applying under Canadian Experience category then your work experience gained while you are studying doesn't count.

I've been following this thread for a while and it's been very helpful during my EE journey.
Thank you all for sharing your thoughts and experience here.

I'd like to share my timeline too.

My CIC:

Feb 08 - EE profile submitted
Feb 20 - ITA
Mar 15 - PR application submitted & AOR received
Apr 22 - Medicals passed
Apr 22 - Background check in process
Apr 23 - Additional documents required (CELPIP) - provided the same day
Jun 24 - Schedule A of common-law partner requested - provided the same day
Jun 25 - Schedule A of principal applicant requested - provided the same day
Jun 29 - Bio data, photos and passports copies request - sent the next day

At this point My CIC still shows BG & Eligibility 'in process' and The final decison 'not started yet'.

ECAS:

Jun 26 - Changed into 'In process'
Jun 29 - Decision made

I'm a CEC applicant with a job offer, applied from Canada with common-law partner, and I'm from a visa exempt country.
Never received the second AOR.
Good luck everyone!

Oh!! Congrats flytrap!

We have pretty simalar timelines....

And congrats to all the rest that have been able to move forward with ppr!!!!

Today I had an update..... yes, another.... :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
they need a new Police Certificate from my country... the one I sent was missing a line -I obviously didn't know- the certificates are new, so it was the first time I see one of those...

But, the VO was kind enough to point out the incompleteness of the copy I sent, and I already started a new procedure with my Consulate to fix the mistake... Hopefully I will be able to have news on Monday or Tuesday and submit the new document in a week or two.
The officer's letter mentioned that they need this document to proceed with the final decision.
This means that everything else is fine then, right?
I should have a PPR request soon after I submit the new PRC, right?

:-X ??? :-X

HELP NEEDED

I GOT EMail from cic regarding doc request and that went to spam. The last date of submission was July 1 and I did that on July 2 (reason told). However they were successfully uploaded.

Will there be a problem??

This is actually the reason why I used to check myCIC everyday, morning coffee, news feed, check myCIC to not get screwed. I don't think anyone faced this issue before, so my comment is going to be very speculative as well. I think it's going to depend on the case officer, unless the system automatically withdraws applications that failed to comply with some SLA's. Your best bet is to create an upfront CSE and explain the situation along with submitting the documents in myCIC.

I got ppr today finally!!! My timeline is as follows:

Jan 29 - EE profile submitted
Jan 31 - ITA
Feb 23 - PR application submitted & AOR received
Mar 15 - Medicals passed, Background check in process
May 26 - Schedule A of spouse requested - provided the next day
May 28 - Schedule A of principal applicant requested - provided the same day
July 03 - Bio data, photos and passports copies request

I am FSW, applied within Canada.

One question, the address on my file is outdated, should I update the address in online system or just provide the return envelop with new address?

I agree with test101, will depend on the case officer.
Every e-mail issued gives you a deadline, and after that it says "If this deadline is not met, your application will be assessed based on the information that was provided with your application and your application could be refused."

You could call CIC, maybe they can give you an idea of how to proceed since you didn't received a notification. But I guess that the best call would have been to upload a letter explaining why you didn't meet the deadline at the time of submission.
