yesterday my ECAS front page status changed from Application recieved to In-progress. So can anyone help me when I can expect the Passport request.

My times lines
Profile created - JAN 31st
ITA recieved - 7th Feb
Application sumbitted - 14th Feb
Medical status passed on March 1st week
Additional document requested - March 20 (Singapore PCC)
Document sumbitted on April -14 (Singapore PCC)
Additional document status - Provided - April 15

After that I didnt see any movement on my profile. Except Yesterday ECAS status.

Canyone advice when I can expect PPR based on the your timelines

Hi, Thanks for your info. As far as I know you must select a visa office so you can raise a enquiry, how did you know which visa office is processing your application

You don't need to select a visa office to use the Case Specific Inquiry form online. In terms of which visa office is processing my application, I phoned CIC this morning and the agent told me that it is at CIO in Nova Scotia because I needed the name and address of the visa office for the police certificate application.

I applied though Express Entry, I believe maximum would be 6 months right?
I wondering if anyone know if CIC is doing faster than 6 months.

6 months or less is the general rule of thumb.

CIC confirmed that they are committed to process 80% of the application within 6 months or less and this timeline only applies to time that is within their control. For example, if you take an extra 2 months to obtain a document that CIC requests then that extra 2 months is not accounted for the 6-month timeline. Also, although 80% of the application will be processed within 6 months, the established processing time for your program will still apply, so 27 months for FSW, 13 months for CEC and 13 months for PNP but most likely won't take that long.

My timeline is as follows:
Received ITA: 27th March
Submitted Application: 10th April
AOR: 10th April
Medicals Passed: 15th April

Application status: open
Review of eligibility: Review in progress
Background check: Not started

Background check is what is worrying me.. I see people getting background check in progress along with Medicals passed status. Anyone on the same boat as me and waiting for Background ground status change?

ECAS status is Application received with 3 lines including 'Medicals have been received'...

My friend and I are same timeline .. and same status for bg check.

I have submitted my application on March 11th, no updates yet. Not even medical received.
However my ecas status is Application Received.
I don't know whats going on with my file.
