Congrats on your ITA. If your police certificate is dated in January then yes you may need another one. The certificate should not be more than six months old but maybe they will let it slide. Hopefully they don't reject your application but rather ask you to submit a new one.

Unfortunately you are incorrect. The 6 months rule only applies to the country you currently live in but the OP now resides in Canada and not Jamaica. If it were a Canadian PC then it would no longer be valid but as it's a Jamaican PC it's still valid.

Got ITA one week ago with 460 points under FSW. I living in Canada now and have been for the last 2 years. I have a police record from Jamaica I received in Janauary of this year. Would that police record be valid or do I have to get a new one?

Yes the police certificate is valid. This is because you haven't lived in Jamaica for the past 2 years and the Jamaican PC was obtained in January of this year which is after the last time you lived in Jamaica.

No, proceed with the application, enter the correct ECA number and provide an explanation in a letter that you'll upload with the ECA and degrees. CIC doesn't ask for the ECA but in this case I think you definitely need to send it.

I corrected my information that i mistakenly entered about having a Certificate of Qualification & i'm now down to 357 points

Apart from the Spouse ECA & English test, what would you guys advise me to do to get the points back up?

I actually made some calls to a couple institutions & they said i could challenge the Certification of Qualification exam....i did some research but that exam seems hard like woah....where i would basically need to know a ton of information on canada's electrical codes & such to pass the exam....seems like a longshot where i could challenge the exam & easily fail it....

Any advise?

Yeah, but we all know that retakin the IELTS is at LEAST a year from now ???
