With this score it is very unlikely that you will get invited in early 2016. You can try improving your language results to a CLB9 to get a 400+ CRS and, if you are still short on 450+, apply for a Provincial Nomination.

Thanks jorgecmb for your reply.

Yes scoring CLB 9 will improve my chances. But on the other hand I am thinking of improving my credentials by getting master degree from canada.

Is applying for PR from india is good option or getting into study visa??

IMO, a PR is a better choice because you will pay less for your masters, as you won't be a international student and you will be able to work while studying. But they are completely different things. PR is for who wants to start a new life in Canada as an immigrant. And a study visa will only let you live in Canada while you are studying there. It depends on what are your plans to the future.

But jorgecmb after completing my education in canada I can apply for PR from there and will get high marks in express entry in terms of foreign education and experience.

So, I am considering this thing.

Sure you will get better marks. But if you can get a PR now, by bumping up your IELTS and maybe trying a PN, why investing more money and waiting even longer? Besides, who can assure immigration rules won't change again, specially with the new government?

You too, good luck! And remember, if you can't increase your score by other means and get an ITA, getting your masters is Canada with a study visa is a great option!

Hi,
I have more than 5 years of experience in Software engineering (software development).
All my experience certificates mention 'Software Engineer'.

Software engineering is a regulated occupation in Canada. Do I need to obtain license / certification before applying for nomination program?
I have worked all along in software development and would be searching jobs in software development only.

Is there difference between 2173 (Software Engineers and Designers ) and 2174 (Computer Programmers and Interactive Media Developers).
2173 requires license while 2174 doesn't.
Can I apply under 2174 without the need of license, where my experience certificate shows me software engineer?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Kunaldude

You should not confuse yourself in applying for education or PR. PR is always a better option. Below I share some information for you.

Education: You get 20 points
Language: You have to score CLB leve 8 (L=7.5, R=6.5, W=6.5, S=6.5) => points 20
Age: 12 points (age must be between 22-34)
Experience = 4 years, points 8
You total score = 60 points out of 100 for Saskatchewan Nomination.

You should wait a few months to complete a four year experience. Apply for a nomination to Saskatchewan. If all documents are accurate, you will get nominated in a week.

Best of luck. Hope the above information helps you.
