Hi all

I am curious as to how the Express Entry system will work. Currently though, I have applied for FSW14 and my application is in process. As far as I know, FSW14 will be closing in April 2015 so there will be some months of overlap (i.e. Jan 2015 to April 2015). My advice though would be to apply for FSW if possible before it closes, as with that, once your application is complete and you meet the requirements, you are almost guaranteed a spot. At this point EE seems too "iffy".

However, I will keep watching this space for more details.

Friends,

Does anyone have any idea about Proof Of Funds for Express Entry? Do we still have to satisfy those requirements?

Or is it that we will be invited to apply only if an employer is ready to accept us (thereby waiving the POF requirement?

Greetings to all,

I'm new to the forum and I was wondering if it has anything new program Exspres Entry? I have 20 years of work experience, 3 years in Canada as a Tile Setter. It is imperative to find an employer if there is enough only application?

Thanks for the reply.

If your job belongs to the list of eligible NOC and it is considered a cold NOC then apply now :)

But if it is a hot NOC and you think you won't make it to the cap then I personally suggest complete the requirements now so you may be more or less ready for express entry. Specially if you think you obtained a high score for FSW criteria. And stay tuned on january 1 for EE details

Thank you for your prompt response,

I need your expertise for my concern regarding the NOC 1212

I work for an international bank...my day to day work involves making payments in all the currencies to all parts of the world (wire transfers, international fund transfers) .

I'm a payments executive and have 7+ years of work experience in same field...advisig customers/educating customers about making an international payment and what are the mandatory things that are to be furnished when making a fund transfer to a specific country (I mean banking regulations and requirements as they vary from country to country).

As there no such NOC exactly matching for my nature of work....I thereby request u all to advise if I can apply under NOC 1212 and will it be considered....

Thank you in advance. :-)

EE - NOMINATED CANDIDATE - Follows the same processing steps as FSW .

This includes MR - Ok - Bk.Chks. + SCC + etc..

The higher the skill a candidate possess - brighter the chance to succeed through EE and its purely Employer driven .

PREPARATION -
GET IELTS AND WES-ECA READY - PSPT MINIMUM - 2 YEARS VALIDITY - IF POSSIBLE PCC

Good luck

True but people who full fill the criteria and rank higher even if they don't have a job will also ge invited .

As a doctor I think this system will be very difficult for us if a job offer through Job Bank will be made necessary. Canada requires foreign graduated doctors to undergo Medical Council of Canada licensing exam, which is a rather prolonged and difficult exam to clear. Wondering if only those who have cleared the exam will be considered in this EE 2015 as job offers can only be given once the candidate has cleared licensing exam.

Hi, FSW 2015 will end on April 30, 2015 or when the global cap of 25,000 applications is reached. It will overlap with Expression of Interest which will launch in January 2015, the information in the link does not indicate the end of FSW but the launch of EoI. Cheers.

The line clearly states that " These are the last applications we will accept under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015"

there will be no overlapping whatsoever. (emphasis on the word "before")

There will be overlapping according to the Ministerial Instructions for FSW 2014. Check this link (Look for the word "April"):
