I am a International graduate student and working as a Research Assistant under my supervisor. I have one year work experience at NOC type skil from my country and willing to apply for PR through FSW pool of Express Entry. I have a job certificate from my supervisor mentioning that I am getting salary as a Research Assistant working 40hours/week (besides my study).

So according to this Research Assistant job, shall I get the 10 points (for Arranged employment in Canada)?[please read first 2 para]

hi sumitpal22,

I have CRS points of 397 does it looks good to apply for express entry profile.

The CRS points required for an invitation to apply, have not dropped below 450 so far. However, there is speculation they may drop more, nobody can say for sure when and how much.

But, it doesn't hurt to create a profile....as long as one keeps moderate expectations.

Dear All,

I have recently logged my application for Express entry and my CRS score is 373. Below are my details.
Under Province/Territory Nomination I could see detail as "No nomination at this time".

Profession - Software Engineer
Marital status - Married
Age - 28
Exp - 5+ yrs
IELTS - Reading : 7,Writing : 6.5 , Listening : 7.5 , Speaking : 7.5
Education as per ECA - Bachelor (4 yrs)
Second language - None
Canadian work exp - None

Spouse Details
Exp - 5+ yrs
IELTS - Reading : 7,Writing : 7 , Listening : 7.5 , Speaking : 7.5
ECA - None
Second language - None
Canadian work exp - None

I am the principal applicant and as per the chances of receiving ITA , one should have minimum of CRS 450 points .
I tried looking for Ontario PNP but minimum CRS is 400 points. Spouse's ECA will add 8 points more but not enough
to qualify for OINP.
Which provinces should I contact in Order to request for Provincial Nomination and How can I increase my CRS score ?.

Dear members, request you to please provide your valuable inputs.

The process is basically the same for everyone. US Permanent Residents do not have a special/separate process.
